Through the extensive use of technology and social media, the digital era has changed how religion is perceived and practiced. Islam as a global religion is enjoying a rise in popularity, with some well-liked Islamic religious models gaining ground online. This essay looks into how these models are portrayed, how they affect how people around the world view Islam, and the difficulties they present. The digital era promotes religious understanding through easy access to information, online learning, interfaith conversation, virtual interactions, and the exchange of religious ideas. These prevalent paradigms cover a variety of interpretations, from traditional to reformist, extreme, Sufi, and intellectual, and they have an impact on people's religious identities. This study highlights measures to foster tolerance and diversity, taking into account both beneficial elements, such enhanced religious knowledge, and negative dangers, like disinformation and fragmentation.
